Hello Teachers!

Happy spring everybody and I hope all of you have had a little bit of resting time. Congratulations to all the teachers on their hard work for the Certificate of Merit Program!!!

First up, our next meeting is fast approaching on Tuesday, April 10 at Keyboard Concepts in Sherman Oaks. I’ve set the meeting for 10am-12pm, but hopefully we can end a little early.  Light refreshments will be served. We will be discussing CM topics, Branch officer positions, upcoming events and other branch items. The branch needs support from all of our members, even just to stay in the know from these meetings. Therefore, PLEASE attend if you are at all available, I completely understand if you can’t stay for the whole meeting. I would personally love to see as much participation as possible from our teachers, because you all are important and so are your voices!

Upcoming Events:

April 8- Mark Richman’s MasterClass
     Pasadena Steinway from 12-2pm
     * Admission is free for all auditors, so please attend if you are available!

April 15- Honors Festival 
      LA Valley College - Recitals from 12-7:30pm
     * Send in your entries ASAP as Roger needs to finalize these programs. It’s a very big job to compile all the selected students, so let’s all assist as best as we can!

April 22- Scholarship Competition
     Beverly Hills Steinway- Times to be assigned after all entries are compiled.
